Kevin Pogue – Franchisee/President
Kevin and Tracy Pogue opened their first Qdoba (East Peoria) in December of 2008. In late 2012 the 4th store (Springfield) opened. As a hands-on franchisee you can often see Kevin in the stores interacting with guests, cleaning tables, and always looking to give away a free cookie to kids! Kevin ate at Qdoba for the first time in 2007 and was hooked from that moment on.
Kevin and Tracy live in Peoria, IL and have two children: Alexandra (’98) and Andrew (’01). In addition to being heavily involved in their kids’ activities, both Kevin and Tracy are involved in many local charities and organizations both personally and through their stores.
Alexandra came up with the name for their corporation (KTAAP – Kevin, Tracy, Alex, Andrew, Pogue) when she was 9 years old.
Kevin’s hobbies include: basketball (Old-man league), golf, and coaching and supporting his children’s sports activities.
Interesting fact: Prior to opening up his first Qdoba, Kevin was involved in the underground pipeline construction industry his entire working life.
Jolene McCoy – Catering/Marketing Director
Jolene started with Qdoba in our East Peoria store in 2009 with the intention of working part time in the winter until returning to her accounting job in the spring. It only took 2 weeks at Qdoba to make her decide that this was where she wanted to stay! Initially she was a line server and then worked her way to a shift manager. In 2010 Jolene transferred to our Peoria store where she would eventually become the GM. When issues came up at our East Peoria store Jolene transferred back as the GM and helped grow the sales at that store and almost double the catering sales during her tenure there. In 2014 Jolene transitioned out of the GM role and became our Catering Director responsible for all catering and Marketing activities at all 4 KTAAP stores. Jolene spends tons of time in the stores, especially during lunch so watch out for her slinging burritos, talking to customers in the lobby or helping our staff make it through the day. Jolene splits her time equally between Moline, East Peoria, Peoria and Springfield so you’re bound to run into her during one of your visits!
